- Developing tools for the CoralMicrobes.org website.
- Using novel machine learning techniques for gene selection and sample classification on microarray data.
- Helping the MarineGenomics.org project design two new microarray platforms.
- Writing weekly script requests for the HML labs.

- B.S. in Discovery Informatics from College of Charleston
Personal
- Bicycles! I have three bikes. An 80's Schwinn fixed-gear for downtown commutes. A Surly CrossCheck for trails, roads, and everything in between. For the lyric cladded training rides I take my steel Specialized Allez.
- Food and wine! I used to be a sous chef, and still enjoy having friends over for dinner.
- I am news blog junkie. I don't have television, they are how I stay informed.
